Very happy, the colour is good, brim is the perfect size and the water beads off unlike the issued one.

I still have one of the original tech 1 Boonies, keeps your head cool and the larger brim stops or nose, face and ears from getting less sun burnt then the Army issued bush hat. Will be purchasing this item again.

The smaller wallet can fit some smaller items such as your ID and other cards, dog tags and AAA batteries, 100% waterproof and can fit into your shoulder pocket.

Good bit of kit

This boonie stands out from the crowd. The material is a perfect blend of nylon and cotton, in Auscam desert colours, bit with a multicam twist. The cord is a different take, however seems better than loads of others i have tried. The lug would be better in leather, as its longevity is unknown, but it is pretty sound. Highly recommended.
